Crystal Palace beat Nottingham Forest 3-1 in Premier League comeback

Crystal Palace secured a 3-1 comeback victory against Nottingham Forest at Selhurst Park in a Premier League fixture marked by controversy and a notable managerial return. Nottingham Forest took an early lead in the third minute through Dan Ndoye, following a defensive error by Anan Khalaili. Despite Forest dominating much of the first half, Palace responded with two goals just before the interval: Daichi Kamada equalized in the 41st minute, and Jefferson Lerma scored a header in stoppage time to make it 2-1. The Lerma goal was subject to a VAR review after replays suggested the ball may have touched Khalaili's arm, but the decision stood.

In the second half, Yeremy Pino extended Palace's lead to 3-1 in the 59th minute. The match served as the first return to Selhurst Park for Nottingham Forest manager Oliver Glasner since his departure from Crystal Palace, where he previously led the club to major silverware. While Forest controlled significant portions of the game, missed opportunities by Liam Delap and a strong performance by Palace goalkeeper Walter Benitez proved decisive. The result moves Crystal Palace to 12th in the Premier League standings, while Nottingham Forest sits in 14th.
