CS Domnești advances to national stage of Romanian Cup

CS Domnești secured the regional title of the Cupa României Betano after a 2‑0 victory over Viitorul Budești, earning a place in the first round (Turul 1) of the national competition scheduled for 29 July 2026. The team from Argeș County joins seven other regional champions that will compete nationally, including Bradul Putna, Corona Brașov, CSM Deva, FC Bolintin Malu Spart, and Petrolul Berca.

In the North‑West regional final, FC Chieșd defeated CA Oradea 2‑0 to also qualify for Turul 1. Both clubs now represent their regions in the upcoming national phase of the Romanian Cup.

The regional phase concluded with several other decisive results, confirming the lineup of teams that will contest the next stage of the tournament.
