César Roldán S. competes in Ironman 70.3 World Championship

First Sergeant César Roldán S., a member of the Chilean Army's Metropolitan Region Army Garrison Command, competed in the Ironman 70.3 World Championship in Nice, France. Roldán qualified for the event following successful performances at the Ironman 70.3 in Valdivia and securing first place in his category at the Ironman 70.3 in Puerto Varas.

The championship consisted of a 1,900-meter swim, a 90-kilometer cycling stage, and a 21-kilometer run. Roldán noted the difficulty of the competition, particularly during the cycling portion, but expressed pride in completing the race representing Chile. His upcoming athletic goals include participating in the Ironman 70.3 in San Juan, Argentina, scheduled for March 2027.
