CSB Décimas loses narrow season opener to Villacelama Caja Rural RDL

CSB Décimas began their ninth season in the Men's First Division with a narrow 74-72 defeat against Villacelama Caja Rural RDL. Despite an early offensive rhythm that allowed the Soria-based team to lead 19-14 in the first quarter and 56-52 entering the final period, the home team's experience secured the win with a 22-16 run in the fourth quarter.

The team's coaching staff, led by debutant head coach Gonzalo de Domingo Martín and assistant José María Izquierdo Velasco, noted positive aspects from the performance despite the loss. The squad consists of 12 players, combining homegrown talent with new reinforcements, including captain Eneko Cueto and American player Cameron Stitt.

CSB Décimas will look to bounce back this Saturday in their next match at Polideportivo San Andrés against Club Palencia Baloncesto.
