CSDD enables clients to check for personal data leaks following cyberattack
The Road Traffic Safety Directorate (CSDD) has announced that clients affected by a recent cyberattack can now verify if their personal data was compromised. By authenticating through the e.csdd.lv portal, individuals can access personalized information regarding the specific categories and types of data that were extracted by the attacker.
According to CSDD, the attacker obtained unstructured and incomplete data from payment receipt tables. The agency has urged clients to remain cautious of potential fraudulent activities and has advised against sharing any compromised data on social media. To enhance security, CSDD recommends using the ‘DNS firewall’ application from CERT.LV to block malicious calls, messages, and websites.
