CSG expands US presence with Tatra chassis supply for Hanwha Defense

Defense group CSG is expanding its presence in the United States by supplying Tatra Force truck chassis to Hanwha Defense USA. These chassis are intended for a wheeled artillery system designated for the U.S. Army.

In addition to this supply agreement, CSG is evaluating the establishment of its own production sites within the United States to better align with local manufacturing requirements and logistics. The company plans to participate in the AUSA 2026 defense exhibition in Washington, D.C., marking its first appearance at the corporate level.

Beyond North America, Tatra Defence Systems has secured involvement in European defense projects through an agreement with Latvia and Slovakia. This program involves the modernization of Latvian military forces, including MORANA artillery systems and multiple rocket launchers.

On the technology front, CSG is advancing autonomous drone defense capabilities. Through Federal Ammunition, the group is collaborating with O. F. Mossberg & Sons and Palladyne AI to develop the SwarmShot platform.
