CSG subsidiary Federal wins Nordic police ammunition contract

Czechoslovak Group (CSG) subsidiary Federal, part of The Kinetic Group, has secured a major seven-year contract to supply ammunition to the police forces of five Nordic countries: Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, and Iceland.

Under the agreement, Federal will deliver up to 35 million rounds of .223 Remington Tactical Bonded ammunition for service use. Additionally, the company was selected to provide 5.56mm Disintegrator Jacketed Frangible ammunition specifically designed for training purposes to reduce risks during exercises.

This contract follows a recent $77.4 million deal between Federal, Remington, and the FBI. CSG, headquartered in Prague, is a major European defense and engineering group with global manufacturing operations and annual revenues of approximately 6.7 billion euros.
