CSIF demands hazard pay for Andalusian laboratory technicians
The Central Sindical Independiente y de Funcionarios (CSIF) is demanding that the Servicio Andaluz de Salud (SAS) implement an immediate hazard and hardship allowance for laboratory specialist technicians.
The union argues that these professionals face systematic exposure to biological, chemical, and ergonomic risks during their daily routines, including the constant handling of biological samples and specialized technical equipment. CSIF is calling for a transition ‘from words to actions’ to ensure that the physical and mental strain caused by these working conditions is reflected in their economic compensation.
