According to club officials, the total amount of fines incurred due to these sanctions reached approximately 21,000 euros. The club also disputes a 30,000 lei fine and a report from the Gendarmerie dated October 6.
Zoltan Szondi, president of Csikszereda, stated that the club is contesting the legality of the sanctions and called for political support regarding the use of these national symbols. The first hearings at CAS are scheduled to take place on November 12, 2026.
