CSIR-CCMB Hyderabad announces Project Research Scientist recruitment

The CSIR-Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology (CCMB) in Hyderabad is recruiting a Project Research Scientist-II for a project focused on implementing wastewater surveillance for multi-pathogens across India. The role involves using Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) technologies and requires expertise in molecular biology, bioinformatics, and high-throughput genomic data analysis.

The position offers a monthly salary of Rs 67,000 plus 30% HRA. Candidates must hold a PhD in life sciences, such as molecular biology, bioinformatics, biotechnology, microbiology, or virology, or a relevant postgraduate degree. A walk-in interview is scheduled for 16 September 2026.
