CSKA 1948 defeats Slavia Sofia 2-1 in Bulgarian First League

CSKA 1948 secured a 2-1 comeback victory against Slavia Sofia in the 10th round of the Bulgarian First Professional Football League.

Slavia took an early lead in the 38th minute when Ivan Minchev converted a penalty following a VAR intervention. CSKA 1948 responded shortly after the start of the second half, with Georgi Rusev equalizing after a cross from Frederic Massiel.

In the 83rd minute, CSKA 1948 was awarded a penalty after VAR reviewed a foul outside the box, which Atanas Iliev successfully converted. Although Slavia's Vladimir Nikolov scored late in the match, the goal was disallowed due to offside. With this result, CSKA 1948 moves to fourth place with 20 points, while Slavia sits in seventh place with 12 points.
