CSKA 1948 sponsor demands referee recordings after Ludogorets clash

Bulgarian businessman and main sponsor of football club CSKA 1948, Цветомир Найденов, publicly criticised four referees following a match between Ludogorets and CSKA 1948. In a social‑media post he named the officials “Jelеzoto”, “Zhenskiya”, “Slugata‑kamikaze” and “Tupoto”, alleging they were removed from the referee list for reasons such as age, alleged favoritism and a missed penalty decision. Найденов called for the release of the VAR communication recordings from the game and questioned why VAR operator Vasko Minev was not sanctioned. The comments sparked debate over officiating standards in Bulgaria’s efbet Liga.

The sponsor’s statements reflect ongoing tensions between clubs and the Bulgarian Football Union over referee assignments and disciplinary procedures.
