CSKA Sofia coach Hristo Yanev apologises to fans and urges unity after loss

CSKA Sofia head coach Hristo Yanev issued a public apology to supporters of the club’s Sector G after the team’s defeat to Levski in the league. He said he feels the same pain as the fans and stressed that his decisions were made with the club’s interests in mind.

Yanev also announced a new two‑year contract with CSKA, noting the recent Bulgarian Cup triumph and the club’s aim to return to European competition. He called on everyone associated with the “red” community to swallow personal egos and work together to bring the team back to the top.

The coach outlined ongoing summer recruitment plans and expressed optimism about the upcoming move to the new “Bulgarian Army” stadium, which he believes will energise the side and its supporters.
