CSKA Sofia eyes French winger Noah Fatar as part of transfer drive

Bulgarian club CSKA Sofia is actively seeking to strengthen its attack, with French Ligue 2 winger Noah Fatar identified as the primary target. Fatar, currently with Bologna, has a contract running to 2027 and is valued at around €600,000. The club hopes to complete his signing within the current transfer window, which closes on 8 September.

In addition to Fatar, CSKA plans to bring in at least three new players before the deadline, including a central defender to replace the departing Adrian Lapeni. Coach Christo Yanev is expected to continue using a 3‑5‑2 formation that relies on versatile wing‑backs, making the acquisition of quality flank players a priority for the team's upcoming European campaign.
