CSKA Sofia defeats Lokomotiv Sofia 2-0 in efbet Liga match

CSKA Sofia defeated Lokomotiv Sofia 2-0 in a postponed match from the sixth round of the efbet Liga. The victory moves CSKA to second place in the standings with 23 points, trailing leaders Levski by only two points.

James Eto'o opened the scoring in the 37th minute with a powerful strike, and substitute Joel Schwartz secured the win in the 84th minute. Eto'o was named player of the match, having also assisted on the second goal.

Before the match, CSKA supporters organized a choreography to show support for Lokomotiv Sofia coach Lyuboslav Penev, who is currently battling a serious illness. Penev expressed pride in his team's performance despite the loss, noting that they controlled much of the game but failed to convert their chances.
