CSKA Sofia plans line‑up changes for Derry City replay

CSKA Sofia will face Derry City in the second leg of their European tie in Northern Ireland after a 3‑2 home victory. Head coach Hristo Yanev is expected to make four changes across the defence, midfield and attack. New signing Jean‑Philippe Gbabam is likely to replace Facundo Rodriguez in central defence, Max Ebong returns to the forward line, Isaac Sole is set to start from the bench, James Eto’o will occupy the right side of the diamond formation and Joel Cwartz is expected to partner Yoanis Pitas up front.

Former CSKA goalkeeper Stoyan Kolev praised the Bulgarian side, saying it is a higher‑valued team than Derry City and that the quality difference will become evident in the upcoming match in Northern Ireland.
