Botev Vratsa defeats Botev Plovdiv 1-0 for first seasonal win

Botev Vratsa secured its first victory of the season in the efbet Liga, defeating Botev Plovdiv 1-0 at the Hristo Botev Stadium. The decisive goal was scored in the 23rd minute by Preslav Borukov.

The goal resulted from a defensive error by Botev Plovdiv's Marvin Zenger, who struggled with a corner flag, allowing Martin Smolenski to intercept the ball and assist Borukov. Despite several attempts from Botev Plovdiv, including efforts by Samuel Kalu and Carlos Meoti, the Vratsa defense and goalkeeper Lyubomir Vasilev held the lead.

With this win, Botev Vratsa moves to 4 points and 11th place in the standings, breaking a four-match losing streak. Botev Plovdiv remains in 6th place with 7 points following their second consecutive defeat.
