CSKA Sofia sets pre‑season friendlies in Austria ahead of Europa League campaign

CSKA Sofia will begin its 2026‑27 pre‑season preparations on 10 June with a training session at its Pancharevo base, followed by mandatory medical examinations for the squad. The team departs for a two‑week training camp in Austria on 16 June, where it will play three friendly matches.

The first friendly is scheduled for 20 June at 18:00 local time against Slovenian side Brinje Grosuplje at the Arena Nonthal in Salzburg. The second match will be against Ukrainian club Polissya Zhytomyr on 24 June at 19:00 in Mytériž. A third friendly versus Polish team Odra Opole is planned for 28 June, with the exact time and venue yet to be announced.

CSKA will return to Bulgaria on 30 June and conclude its summer preparations with a final friendly against Marek Dupnitsa on 3 July in Sofia. The club’s first competitive fixture of the season is a Europa League match on 9 July. All pre‑season games will be streamed live on the SPORTBG platform.
