CSKA Sofia shows improved play under new coach Marcus Gisdol

CSKA Sofia is demonstrating a more aggressive and dynamic style of play following the appointment of German coach Marcus Gisdol. Former striker Vladimir Manchev noted that the team has adopted a high-pressing approach and shows strong character, despite the challenges of a short preparation period and player injuries.

Club icon Georgi Iliev-Maikula observed that while the team's performance has improved significantly, fatal defensive errors remain a critical issue. He highlighted that the team often loses its aggression immediately after conceding a goal and emphasized the need for better quality in the goalkeeper and defensive positions to build a stable foundation for the future.
