CSKA Sofia stadium receives Act 16 for official operation

CSKA Sofia has officially announced that the reconstructed Bulgarian Army Stadium has received Act 16, the necessary document to put the facility into operation. The club described the milestone as a historic step toward returning to their home ground.

Following an inspection by a state commission, the stadium is nearing its final stages of readiness. While minor remarks from the inspection are being addressed, the club aims to return to the stadium following the upcoming international break. Formal requirements remaining include approvals from the Bulgarian Football Union and UEFA, as well as a friendly match to test evacuation systems. The club anticipates the first official league match at the venue will be against Ludogorets.
