CSKA Sofia defeats Arda 4-1 in match led by interim coach Morales
In the Bulgarian First League, CSKA Sofia secured a 4-1 victory against Arda Kardzhali at the Vasil Levski National Stadium. The match marked the debut of Daniel Morales as interim manager following the resignation of Hristo Yanev. CSKA overcame an early 1-0 deficit from an Arda goal by Birsent Karagaren to dominate the game, with goals from Stefano Sensi, Leo Pereira, Joel Zwarc, and Ioannis Pitas.
Separately, Lokomotiv Sofia managed a 2-2 draw against Cherno More at Ticha Stadium. Despite playing with ten men for much of the second half after Bozhidar Katsarov received a red card, Lokomotiv Sofia fought back from a 2-0 deficit with goals from Ante Aralica and Dimitar Kostadinov.
Following the draw, Cherno More fans expressed significant dissatisfaction with the club's management, issuing a statement demanding accountability and criticizing the amateurish handling of the organization.
