CSKA Sofia to proceed with Ludogorets derby despite schedule pressure

CSKA Sofia has confirmed it will not postpone its upcoming efbet Liga match against Ludogorets. The Round 12 derby is scheduled to take place on Monday, October 26, at 19:30 at the Vasil Levski National Stadium.

The decision comes despite a congested schedule for the team, which includes a Conference League away match against Nordsjælland on Thursday. While other teams like Levski have utilized postponements, CSKA has opted to play the match as scheduled, though they retain the option to postpone a different fixture later.

CSKA will face significant personnel challenges, as top scorer Joel Schwartz is expected to miss the match due to a muscle injury sustained during a recent Bulgarian Cup game. Schwartz has recorded 12 goals across all competitions this season.

Tickets for the match are currently on sale through various online and physical channels, with prices ranging from 10 to 100 euros. Children under seven may enter for free when accompanied by an adult.
