Csíkszereda Vigadó cultural centre renovation to start this autumn

The historic Vigadó building in Csíkszereda, Romania, is set to begin renovation this autumn after the public procurement process concluded with a winner announced. The project, funded largely by the European Union through the Central Regional Development Agency, totals 35.63 million lei, of which 30.83 million lei is EU support. The refurbishment will transform the dilapidated structure into a modern cultural venue that will host the Csíki Kamarazenekar and the Hargita Székely Néptáncszínház.

Mayor Bors Béla confirmed that once the contract is signed, construction will commence as planned, with the aim of completing the works within the allocated budget and timeline.
