CSL Group acquires SIMPL Wireless to expand North American IoT connectivity

CSL Group, a global provider of critical connectivity, has acquired SIMPL Wireless, a US-based IoT eSIM connectivity provider. The acquisition establishes a North American presence for CSL and integrates SIMPL’s multi-carrier eSIM technology and unified connectivity management platform into CSL’s global IoT offerings.

Through SIMPL’s EverSIM technology, which utilizes GSMA SAS-certified Thales eUICC infrastructure, customers can manage connectivity from up to 100 mobile network operators. The service supports 5G Standalone and is backward-compatible with NB-IoT. Additionally, the Compass platform provides a single dashboard and API for users to activate, monitor, and manage SIMs with automated self-healing capabilities via profile fallback.

This marks CSL’s second acquisition in 2026, following the purchase of IoTM Solutions in July.
