CSM Constanța athletes secure 52 medals in August

CSM Constanța reported a successful month of August, with its athletes securing a total of 52 medals across various disciplines. The cycling department was particularly dominant, contributing 23 medals to the total.

Key cycling achievements include gold medals for Amalia Singuran (U23 female) and Filip Grigorescu (Master3 male) at the National Criterium Championship during the Moonride Festival. Matei Cucu also secured a silver medal in the junior category at the same event and placed second in the L’Etape România by Tour de France. Other notable cycling successes were recorded at the Rikora Cup 2026 and the Aero Velo Mania Romanian Cup.

Other sporting highlights include a bronze medal for Daniel Sandu in the 65 kg category at the Karakucak World Championships in Ankara, and a gold medal for Coculeana Oltean in the shot put at the National Athletics Championships – Master (+65 category). Additionally, boxers Alexandru Buleu and Matei Năstăsiuc both won Romanian Cups in the U23 senior category, while Ebru Bolat secured a new national title in yachting.
