CSM Constanța signs US volleyball star Jada deShawn Burse for 2026‑27 season

Romanian club CSM Constanța announced the acquisition of two American volleyball players as part of its squad overhaul for the 2026‑27 competitive season. The headline signing is 28‑year‑old opposite Jada deShawn Burse, who stands 1.86 m tall and brings a decade of experience across clubs in the United States, Kuwait, Brazil, Albania, Finland, Israel and Spain. Burse was the top scorer, best opposite and MVP of Spain’s Copa del Reina in 2025‑26 and earned best opposite honors in the Iberdrola League, as well as leading the Israeli Premier League in scoring the previous season.

The transfers were presented by the technical staff, led by Florin Voinea and Radu Began, and will be followed by the official introduction of fellow American opposite Jolie Rasmussen. The moves aim to strengthen CSM Constanța’s roster ahead of the upcoming Romanian league campaign.
