CSM Slatina and CSM Târgu Jiu conclude handball friendly tournaments
Romanian handball teams CSM Slatina and CSM Târgu Jiu are concluding their summer preparation phases through various friendly tournaments.
CSM Slatina recently participated in the Cupa Craiovei, where they faced three defeats. They lost to HC Dunărea Brăila (30-23), CS Rapid București (32-25), and SCM Universitatea Craiova (34-33). Slatina is scheduled to host the Cupa Slatinei from August 20-22, featuring CSM Slatina, CSM Târgu Jiu, and HC Dunărea Brăila.
CSM Târgu Jiu completed their second summer preparation tournament in Zalău with a mixed record of one draw, one victory, and one loss. Their results included a 32-32 draw against Hungarian side Kisvardai KC, a 33-29 win against HC Zalău 2, and a 21-29 loss to HC Zalău. The team will next compete in the upcoming tournament in Slatina.
