CSM Unirea Alba Iulia spent 266,000 lei on training camp

The third-division football club CSM Unirea Alba Iulia spent a total of 266,186.53 lei (approximately 50,000 euros) for a centralized training camp held in Poiana Brașov from July 23 to August 4, 2026.

The largest portion of the expenditure, totaling 230,988 lei, was allocated to full-board accommodation and meals at Hotel Piatra Mare, a property owned by businessman Ioan Neculaie. The delegation consisted of 39 people, including 28 players, 8 technical and medical staff members, and 3 administrative personnel. The stay included 17 double/twin rooms and 5 single rooms.

Additional costs included 20,198.53 lei for round-trip and daily transportation, 13,500 lei for renting a natural grass pitch in Ghimbav, and 1,500 lei for referee fees during friendly matches against ACS Olimpic Zărnești and Corona Brașov. The funding was provided through the club's own revenues and allocations from the Alba Iulia municipal budget.
