CSM Vaslui wins Liga 3 opener with last-minute goal

CSM Vaslui secured a 3-2 victory against Bradul Putna in the opening stage of Liga 3. The match was decided in the final moments when Edi Ponea scored the winning goal.

Despite a new tactical system implemented by coach Sorin Sava, the team managed to claim all three points. Copoț Barb opened the scoring for Vaslui in the 45th minute, but Bradul Putna equalized shortly after the second half began through Claudiu Tomoiagă. Robert Rusu later restored Vaslui's lead, only for the visitors to equalize again via a penalty from Cărăușu. Ponea's late strike ensured the win for the home side.
