CSU representatives visit Geiger garden nursery in Hersbruck

As part of the ‘Hersbruck erleben’ event series, members of the CSU visited the GartenBaumschule Geiger in Hersbruck. Approximately 40 participants attended the visit, which included CSU Hersbruck and Altensittenbach chairmen Götz Reichel and Peter Uschalt, district farmer Marion Fischer, former MEP Marlene Mortler, and state parliament member Norbert Dünkel.

Founded in 1911 and currently managed by the fourth generation—Wolfgang, Max, and Nadine Geiger—the family business operates two locations in Hersbruck. The visit provided insights into the company’s development, sustainable cultivation methods, and its role as a regional provider of trees, shrubs, and forest plants. The business is noted for its extensive assortment, including over 200 varieties of roses, and its involvement in regional plant markets.
