CTA Autónoma Buenos Aires unveils Germán Abdala list for Almirante Brown union election

The Buenos Aires branch of the CTA Autónoma union presented List 1 "Germán Abdala" to contest internal elections for the Almirante Brown local. The slate, led by Leo Sosa for secretary‑general and Rudy Bergos for deputy secretary, received endorsement from ATE Bonaerense and was introduced by leaders such as Oscar "Colo" de Isasi, Hugo "Cachorro" Godoy and other national and provincial union figures. Participants highlighted the need to oppose President Javier Milei’s policies and called for strong voter turnout on 20 August.

In Lanús, the CTA Autónoma also launched the same list, with the presence of national, provincial and local conductors, including Walter Pintos and Hugo Godoy. They stressed that the election should strengthen workers’ organization, build a community‑based political force across Argentina and Latin America, and continue resistance to the current government's economic model.
