CTA Workers' Union presents List 10 for upcoming regional elections

The CTA workers' union has officially presented List 10 ahead of regional elections scheduled for November 3. The upcoming vote will determine the union leadership for the 2026–2030 term.

In the Junín region, the list is led by Mauricio Madrea for Secretary General and Tamara Valtorta for Deputy Secretary General. The coalition includes various labor and social groups such as SUTEBA, CICOP, ATE Verde y Blanca, Judiciales, the Frente Cooperativo, and the Frente Barrial. Leaders highlighted concerns regarding job losses, decreased purchasing power, and the precariousness of labor conditions.

In the Lomas region, List 10—headed by Jorge Osterwalder and Adriana Grandoli—is also seeking to maintain leadership. Supporters of the list emphasized the need for a broad union perspective to combat government austerity measures and defend the rights of both formal and informal workers.
