CTBC Brothers trail 0-2 in CPBL Taiwan Series against Wei Chuan Dragons

The CTBC Brothers face a critical situation in the CPBL Taiwan Series after falling 0-2 in the best-of-seven series against the Wei Chuan Dragons. Following a 1-3 loss in Game 2, Brothers manager Weiichi Hirano cited defensive lapses after scoring and the injury of starting pitcher Felix, who left the game after being hit by a line drive, as decisive factors.

Game 3 will move to the Taipei Dome, giving the Brothers home-field advantage. The Dragons are attempting to become the first team to win the championship after starting with a 3-0 lead, a feat that has occurred in all nine previous instances in league history.

The upcoming matchup features a duel between two dominant foreign pitchers: the Brothers will start season leader Rogelio Dominguez, while the Dragons will counter with Steel Dragon. The Brothers must secure a victory to avoid a 0-3 deficit, which historically has never been overcome in the league.
