Côte d’Ivoire presents sustainable housing ambitions at AIHS Nigeria

The Côte d’Ivoire Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI-CI) participated in the 20th edition of the Africa International Housing Show (AIHS) held in Abuja, Nigeria. Representing the CCI-CI, a delegation highlighted the nation's progress and ambitions regarding sustainable housing and real estate development.

During the event, officials addressed the challenges of rapid urbanization and the increasing demand for housing in Côte d’Ivoire. To combat these issues, the delegation noted several government-led reforms, including the establishment of the National Housing Agency (ANAH), the Social Housing Guarantee Fund (FGLS), and the recapitalization of the Housing Bank of Côte d’Ivoire (BHCI). The CCI-CI emphasized its commitment to engaging the private sector as a strategic partner to address the housing deficit and facilitate access to land and financing.
