CTIS English Academy to host free Halloween workshop in Minato City

CTIS English Academy will host a free Halloween-themed event titled ‘Let’s Play Day’ on October 31, 2026, at its Minami-Azabu campus in Minato City, Tokyo. The workshop is designed for elementary school students in grades 1 through 6.

Participants will engage in an all-English learning experience where they receive information about Halloween and colors before designing and creating their own Halloween wreaths. The session concludes with students delivering English-language presentations about their creations, emphasizing a ‘think and explain’ approach rather than simple craftwork.

The event is limited to 15 participants and aims to introduce children to a project-based learning style where they use English to solve tasks and express reasoning. While the instruction is conducted entirely in English, staff will be available to support children who may have difficulty understanding.
