Pro TV and Nuclearelectrica announce leadership changes
Several leadership changes are occurring within the Romanian media and energy sectors. Aleksandras Cesnavicius is stepping down as CEO of Pro TV after nearly 13 years. He will remain with the CME Group to work on new strategic projects. Christian Anting, a professional with over 25 years of experience in media and digital business, will succeed him as CEO effective September 1.
In the energy sector, Cosmin Ghiță has resigned from his position as General Director of Nuclearelectrica after nearly nine years. His departure comes during a challenging period for the company, as both reactors at the Cernavodă plant are currently offline due to low Danube water levels. The Romanian government has announced that a selection process for a new director general will be organized following a 90-day notice period.
