CTP introduces comprehensive anti-corruption strategy
The Republican Turkish Party (CTP) has introduced a comprehensive ‘Anti-Corruption Strategy’ aimed at institutional transformation. Presented by CTP Chairperson Sıla Usar İncirli, the plan seeks to move beyond mere criminal investigations toward a holistic management model designed to prevent corruption before it occurs.
Key components of the strategy include the establishment of an independent Anti-Corruption Authority, effective auditing of asset declarations, the implementation of electronic tendering, and the creation of a registry of beneficial owners. The plan also emphasizes the protection of whistleblowers and the transparent management of public lands.
İncirli stated that the objective is not a political reckoning, but rather to build a system that protects public resources, strengthens honest public servants, and restores trust in the rule of law. The strategy aims to address existing issues of corruption and favoritism while establishing permanent, accountable institutions and rules that apply equally to all, regardless of political affiliation.
