Cuarteto Iberia to perform at Teatro Liceo

The Cuarteto Iberia will perform at the Teatro Liceo this Monday as part of the XV Ciclo de Música de Cámara y Solistas. The ensemble will present a program titled ‘Traditio’, featuring works by Luigi Boccherini, Joseph Haydn, and Ludwig van Beethoven.

Formed in Madrid in 2018, the quartet consists of Marta Peño and Luis Rodríguez on violin, Arnold Rodríguez on cello, and Mario Oltra on viola. The musicians utilize modern Cremona instruments alongside an 18th-century violin from Mittenwald. The group holds residencies and memberships with institutions such as the Museo Lázaro Galdiano and the Real Sociedad Menéndez Pelayo.

Tickets are priced at 20, 25, and 30 euros and are available through the Teatro Liceo box office, Torre de los Anaya, or via the ciudaddecultura.org website.
