Cuatro to launch ‘El Comité’ current affairs program with Risto Mejide

Mediaset España is producing a new weekly current affairs program titled ‘El Comité’ for the television channel Cuatro. The show will be hosted by Risto Mejide and will air during prime time following the program ‘Horizonte’.

Derived from a segment of ‘Todo es mentira’, the new format will feature a panel of specialists from various fields, including economics, science, diplomacy, law, and politics, to analyze social, judicial, and international news. Each episode will begin with an editorial by Mejide. The program will also incorporate field reporting, live connections, and investigative journalism. Journalist Bea Márquez will join the project to assist with co-presentation and content transitions. The production is a collaboration between Mediaset España and Vodevil.
