Cuauhtémoc launches ‘Colores de Chihuahua’ facade renovation program

The Chihuahua Secretariat of Tourism has launched the ‘Colores de Chihuahua’ program in Cuauhtémoc to renovate and beautify the facades of establishments along Juárez and Ferrocarril avenues. This historical corridor serves as a key visual area for passengers traveling on the Chepe train.

The project involves a state investment of 500,000 pesos to intervene more than 4,000 square meters of facades. The design will feature a warm white base accented by lower borders in brown, blue, yellow, green, and red.

According to Francisco Javier Orrantia Franco, director of Tourism Planning, the initiative aims to recover public spaces, strengthen community identity, and create a more attractive destination for visitors as the city approaches its centennial.
