The Cuautitlán Izcalli City Council, led by Mayor Daniel Serrano, has approved modifications to the 2026 Annual Works Program. These changes aim to strengthen urban infrastructure and improve public services to meet municipal needs.

Additionally, the Council approved the creation of the Municipal Development Planning Commission for Cuautitlán Izcalli. This body is intended to enhance institutional coordination and planning processes for the territory's development.

Regarding a recent incident in San Francisco Tepojaco, the municipal government stated it is coordinating with the State of Mexico government to provide assistance and monitor the health of those injured.
