Cuautitlán Izcalli reports reduction in missing persons search files

The municipal government of Cuautitlán Izcalli has reported a reduction in the number of active missing persons search files. Data indicates that the daily average of search files has decreased by 31% compared to 2024 and by 29.6% compared to 2025.

As of July 31, 2026, there were 128 people with active search files, averaging 0.603 cases per day. This trend coincides with an increase in successful localizations. In 2024, 173 people were located, a figure that rose to 238 in 2025, representing a 37.5% increase.

Additionally, the number of pending cases at the end of each year has seen a significant decline. Pending files dropped from 148 in 2024 (46% of total registrations) to 75 in 2025 (23.9% of total), a reduction of approximately 49% in absolute terms.
