Cuautla merchants form committee to oversee market rehabilitation

Merchants at the Hermenegildo Galeana municipal market in Cuautla, Morelos, have formed a supervisory committee to oversee the rehabilitation and construction of the supply center. Julián Reyes has been appointed president of the committee, which is tasked with monitoring construction progress and representing the interests of local vendors.

During an assembly, members of the Colegio de Ingenieros provided technical reports regarding the project. Experts emphasized that because the market is located in a seismic zone, the building must incorporate specific structural measures and safety protocols to protect merchants and customers.
