Cuautla residents warn of risks from bridge retaining wall damage

Residents in Cuautla, Morelos, have reported material detachment from the retaining wall of the bypass bridge near the Casa Vargas commercial area. The damage is located on the lateral lane connecting to the José María Morelos y Pavón road distributor.

Citizens expressed concern regarding the safety of motorists and pedestrians, suggesting the deterioration may be linked to constant heavy traffic and previous vehicle collisions. Local residents have called upon the Morelos Center of the Secretariat of Infrastructure, Communications, and Transport (SICT) to conduct a formal inspection and perform necessary repairs to prevent further structural failure.
