Cuautlancingo hosts Juventudes 2026 race for 1,000 athletes
The Juventudes 2026 race was held in Cuautlancingo to celebrate International Youth Day. Approximately one thousand athletes participated in the competition, which featured 3-kilometer and 5-kilometer distances.
Mayor Omar Muñoz Alfaro led the start of the event at El Ameyal Recreational Park. The race was organized in collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce of the State of Puebla, marking the first joint event between the municipal government and the Chamber.
Winners in the various categories included Andrea Lizeth Flores González and Oscar Dilan Bueno González for the 3-kilometer race, while Andrea Pérez Cuaya and Yosep Flores García took first place in the 5-kilometer category.
