Cuautlancingo Mayor launches first Rodada Eco-Urbana cycling event

Omar Muñoz, the municipal president of Cuautlancingo, launched the first Rodada Eco-Urbana Cuautlancingo 2026. The event took place in the Sanctorum auxiliary presidency and involved approximately 150 cyclists and families.

In addition to the cycling ride, the day included physical activation activities, a children's race, the ‘Mi Calle Ideal’ exhibition, and a basic bicycle mechanics workshop. More than 30 prizes, including bicycles, hotel stays, and sporting equipment, were awarded to participants to encourage physical activity.

Gloria Santana Mirón, the sports delegate, noted the coordination between the local government and the state government to promote such sporting activities.
