Cuautlancingo rehabilitates La Reserva sports complex

The municipality of Cuautlancingo has completed the rehabilitation of the La Reserva sports unit, located within the Quetzalcóatl Territorial Reserve in Puebla. The project involved an investment of 1.3 million pesos and covered 1,800 square meters of space.

Carried out through the ‘Parque en un Día’ program in coordination with Fundación Bepensa and Fundación Cummins, the improvements include renovated children's playgrounds, refurbished bleachers, goals, and basketball hoops. The facility also features non-slip court paint, a shaded area, picnic tables, and upgrades to access points, benches, signage, and murals.

Additional work was performed at the entrance of the adjacent María del Carmen Millán Primary School. The project is estimated to benefit approximately 15,000 local residents, including 270 students and 150 neighboring families. The initiative relied on the participation of 120 volunteers from Bepensa Motriz, Cummins, and the local community.
