Cuautlancingo reports seventh consecutive month of declining crime

Crime rates in Cuautlancingo decreased during July, falling from 206 to 187 reported incidents. This represents a 9.2% reduction compared to the same month last year, according to data from the Fiscalía General del Estado de Puebla.

This marks the seventh consecutive month of declining crime in the municipality. Mayor Omar Muñoz attributed the sustained trend to a municipal security strategy focused on increasing police presence, enhancing operational coordination, and improving response times to citizen reports.

Muñoz stated that the results demonstrate the effectiveness of the current strategy and emphasized that the administration will continue to prioritize security through preventive actions and increased community proximity.
