UN experts warn US sanctions could turn Cuba into a ‘silent Gaza’
Human‑rights experts appointed by the United Nations condemned a new package of United States sanctions on Cuba, saying the measures threaten to create a humanitarian crisis comparable to a “silent Gaza”.
