Cuba implements inventory management and international trade initiatives
In Varadero, Cubanacán organized a fair for idle and slow-moving products at the Bella Costa hotel. The initiative aims to manage inventories by allowing different facilities to exchange parts and products that are surplus in one location but scarce in another. This strategy seeks to free up warehouse space and generate revenue to offset costs during a period of contraction in Cuban tourism.
Separately, the V MultiSerF 2026 Expo was held in Granma to promote the internationalization of Cuban companies. The event focused on expanding commercial reach beyond borders, maintaining quality standards, and strengthening ties with international partners such as the Trinidad and Tobago Manufacturing Association. During the expo, a trade agreement involving Mexico, Cuba, and Panama was signed by the president of Mexico’s Grupo Nevado y Asociados, aiming to enhance global trade connections.
